ColorMag Pro

ColorMag Pro costs $279 once for 3 sites.

Yes, if you run a news site, an online magazine or a blog with many categories on ColorMag and want the full news ticker, the sticky header, the grid blog layouts and the premium demos without paying again every year. The lifetime license costs $279 once for 3 sites. Updates: For life. Support: For life. Because there is no single site lifetime tier, the plan pays off best when you publish two or three magazine sites with the theme.

Publishers and small agencies should compare the tiers first: 3 sites for $279, 10 sites for $379. The larger tier also includes a Magazine Blocks Pro license, which helps if you build news layouts in the block editor. The money-back guarantee covers 14 days, so install the free ColorMag from wordpress.org, which has 40,000+ active installs and a rating of 4.9, and check whether the free header builder and ad widget areas already cover your site before you buy.

The free ColorMag theme is built for news and magazine sites. It works with the block editor and Elementor, supports WooCommerce, gives every category its own colour, brings a header builder, ad widget areas, related posts and 7 demos. For a small blog that is often enough.

ColorMag Pro unlocks the rest of the comparison table. You get 6 header layouts instead of 3, 17 demos instead of 7, the full news ticker and sticky header, a menu in the top bar, grid, one column and full width blog layouts, breadcrumbs, infinite scroll, an author bio, a lightbox, a reading progress indicator, social share buttons, flyout related posts, a sticky sidebar, schema markup and widgets that pull weather, maps and exchange rates through their APIs.

Most premium magazine themes for WordPress renew every year, and the renewal price often climbs after the first year. ThemeGrill sells ColorMag Pro on its own pricing page as a lifetime license next to the yearly plans, paid once. Updates: For life. Support: For life. The tiers: 3 sites for $279, 10 sites for $379.

Keep in mind that the lifetime tiers stop at 10 sites. Unlimited sites are only available in the yearly agency plan, so an agency that launches many client news sites each year should do the maths before choosing the lifetime license.

ColorMag Pro is a separate theme, not an add-on plugin. After the purchase you download it from your ThemeGrill account, upload it under Appearance, Themes, activate it and enter the license key; according to the vendor documentation your content and theme settings stay in place when you switch from the free theme. Then import one of the premium demos, set the category colours, switch on the news ticker and the sticky header and place your ads in the ad widget areas. Check the result on a phone before you go live. The price was checked on Oct 15, 2026 for the vendor pricing page.
