Is the Rename Media Files on Upload Pro lifetime deal worth it?

Rename Media Files on Upload Pro costs $199 once for unlimited sites.

Yes, if you run several sites of your own, upload images every week and want each file to get a descriptive name the moment it lands in the Media Library. The lifetime license covers unlimited sites you own with updates for life and priority email support, so one purchase handles every blog and shop in your portfolio. WooCommerce stores benefit most, because rules can use the product SKU.

It pays off less if you have one small site or rarely upload images. The license covers your own sites only, so it is not meant for client work. Bulk renaming an existing library touches many files at once, so make a backup first. The refund window is 14 days, enough to test the rules on a staging copy.

File Renaming on Upload free vs. Rename Media Files on Upload Pro

The free File Renaming on Upload plugin on wordpress.org runs on 9,000+ sites. It replaces camera names like IMG_4711.jpg with cleaner file names when you upload, which is the first step toward images that rank in Google Images.

Rename Media Files on Upload Pro adds the rules and bulk tools: names from the post title, date, WooCommerce SKU or your own pattern, rules per post type, role or taxonomy, bulk renaming of existing media without broken links and automatic ALT text and image titles. Accents, umlauts and special characters are removed, and it works with WPML and Polylang.

Rename images for SEO in WordPress with a lifetime license

Descriptive file names help search engines understand an image, and they are one of the easiest SEO gains on any site. The work never stops though: every new upload needs a good name, which is why the plugin stays active for as long as you publish.

WPFactory offers a yearly option and a one-time lifetime license for unlimited own sites. With the lifetime license, updates stay included for life and there is no renewal date to track.

What happens after you buy Rename Media Files on Upload Pro

You install the Pro plugin, activate the license and set your naming rules, for example post title plus SKU for products. Upload a few test images, check the names and ALT text, then run the bulk rename on your existing library after a full backup.
